WEP delivered its first geothermal well in 2006 in the Netherlands. In the years after, WEP has grown to the leading geothermal well engineering & drilling management company in the Netherlands. Almost 95% of all geothermal wells in the Netherlands are delivered by WEP. These wells are over 147km worth and produce more than 330MWth of sustainable thermal energy.

Geothermal Service Team, as part of Well Engineering Partners (WEP), is member of several national and international associations. EGEC – European Geothermal Energy Council
EGEC, the European Geothermal Energy Council, is a non-profit international organisation founded in 1998 to promote the European geothermal industry and enable its development both in Europe and worldwide, by shaping policy, improving business condition, and driving more research and development.
Geothermie Nederland
Geothermie Nederland, established in 2021 through the merger of Platform Geothermie and DAGO, serves as the leading association for the Dutch geothermal sector, bringing together companies and organizations committed to advancing sustainable and affordable heat solutions for both citizens and businesses.
Bundesverband Geothermie
The German Geothermal Association (BVG), established in 1991, represents companies and individual members. It advocates the use of all existing geothermal technologies ranging from shallow to deep, and from cooling to heating, and the production of electricity.
